Vacuuming
Vacuum your rugs as needed, it is the easiest method to keep your rugs looking like new. Braided rugs unlike tufted rugs are constructed with the surface yarns exposed horizontally making them subject to light surface abrasion. Light abrasion or fuzz is usually the result of the action caused by a vacuum's high powered rotary brushes. It is recommended to use a vacuum without high-powered rotary brushes(or with rotary brushes switched off). If the rotary head cannot be switched off, set the brush level to its highest position. |

Spills Blot up spills as they occur, use a brand name spot remover as required. Test a small section of the rug first. Remember, your rugs are reversible, so alternate sides for added wear. The surface may be lightly cleansed by using mild household detergent, water and a gentle sponging motion across the surface. Braided rugs are a dense product, therefore avoid thoroughly soaking in water or liquids. Do not launder in the washing machine. If needed, clean professionally using a dry system. |

Padding The use of a thin non-skid pad is highly recommended for safety, and is useful in avoiding the possibility of color reaction or transfer between the rug & vinyl flooring, or any other underlying floor surface. |

Short pieces of yarns that occasionally "work free" from the rug's pile are normal. Clip & trim, but never pull these sprouts. Should the stitching break in an area of excessive wear, simply sew the braids together using a needle and strong thread. Your rug will be as good as new! |
